Various media reports suggests that United States has imposed a tough sanction on a Indian company over an alleged supply of missile propellent ingredients to Iran after sourcing it from China.
The news agency UNI is reporting on its website on Thursday the 13th of November 2025 that – the United States has announced sanctions against 32 entities and individuals across Iran, China, Hong Kong, the UAE, Türkiye, India, and other regions, targeting networks that supply materials for Iran’s ballistic missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs.
Among those sanctioned is an Indian company accused of providing critical chemical precursors for missile production, highlighting ongoing US efforts to curb Tehran’s military capabilities, the US Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Thursday.
The UNI report added that the action, announced by the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), is part of a broader sanctions package affecting 32 individuals and entities across Iran, the UAE, Turkey, China, Hong Kong, India, Germany, and Ukraine
The sanctioned companies were reportedly part of multiple procurement networks supporting Iran’s weapons production.
The sanctions support the September 27 reimposition of United Nations measures in response to Iran’s “significant non-performance” of its nuclear commitments.
These UN sanctions directly address threats posed by Iran’s nuclear, ballistic missile, conventional arms, and destabilizing activities.
The US called on all UN Member States to implement these reimposed obligations, including measures to curb Iran’s proliferation activities, such as the networks being sanctioned today.
Four United Nations Security Council resolutions—1737, 1747, 1803, and 1929—require Member States to prevent the transfer of items and technology to Iran used in ballistic missile production, as well as items listed on the UN Register of Conventional Arms.
Among the newly sanctioned entities is India-based Farmlane Private Limited, which OFAC said operated under UAE-based MVM Amici Trading LLC and was controlled by German national Marco Klinge.
Klinge serves as director of Farmlane and CEO of Germany-based EVA Handelsgesellschaft UG.
According to OFAC, Klinge coordinated the procurement of missile propellant ingredients—including sodium chlorate, sodium perchlorate, and sebacic acid—from China on behalf of Parchin Chemical Industries (PCI).
Klinge is the point of contact for MVM Amici Trading LLC and has arranged the procurement of China-origin sodium chlorate for use in Iran. MVM Amici, Farmlane, and EVA are being designated pursuant to Executive Order 13382 for being owned, controlled by, or acting on behalf of Klinge.
“Across the globe, Iran exploits financial systems to launder funds, procure components for its nuclear and conventional weapons programs, and support its terrorist proxies,” said John K. Hurley, Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, as quoted by the UNI report.
“At the direction of President Trump, we are putting maximum pressure on Iran to end its nuclear threat. The United States also expects the international community to fully implement UN snapback sanctions to cut off Iran’s access to the global financial system.”
The Indian company was part of the MVM Partnership network, which since 2023 has procured hundreds of metric tonnes of missile propellant ingredients from China. These materials are used to manufacture ammonium perchlorate, a key component in solid propellant rocket motors.
The sanctions were issued under Executive Order 13382, targeting proliferators of weapons of mass destruction, and Executive Order 13224, targeting terrorist organizations and their supporters.
OFAC said the action aims to disrupt Iran’s procurement of missile propellant precursors and prevent the sanctioned entities from accessing the US financial system.
The Treasury statement added that these networks threaten US and allied personnel in the Middle East and commercial shipping in the Red Sea, as Iran seeks to rebuild proliferation-sensitive capabilities destroyed after the 12-Day War.
