India had blamed Pakistan for largescale human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir after multiple reports emerged of protests where ordinary civilians confronted Pakistan Army.

On Friday the 3rd of October 2025 during his weekly presser, Randhir Jaiswal, the Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) was answering reports of protests emanating from POK that included several incidences of brutalities by Pakistani forces on innocent civilians.

Jaiswal said that New Delhi believes this is a natural consequence of Pakistan’s oppressive approach and its systemic plundering of resources from these territories, which remain under its forcible and illegal occupation.

And with regard to developments in Bangla Desh where its interim government had sought to implicate India for the incidences of unrest in Khagrachhari district, Jaiswal said “we categorically reject these false and baseless allegations. The interim government of Bandla Desh is unable to maintain law and order and has a habit of routinely trying to shift the blame elsewhere.

The MEA Spokesperson added that it would do well to introspect and conduct serious investigations into the actions of local extremists committing violence, arson and land grabs against the minority communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
